Overview
Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery of Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences was established in 1986. All the staff, faculty members and management team have been working hard to train and educate professional nurses and midwives. There are 560 highly qualified students in this faculty studying nursing, midwifery, and surgical technology in operating room. Having exceptionally talented faculty members and experts, this faculty is attracting students nationally and internationally in different academic levels (B.Sc. and M.Sc.). Faculty of nursing and midwifery strives to promote internationally collaborative programs, enhance quality of education and research, and train professional nurses, midwives, and surgical technologists who poses required skills, knowledge and competencies to deliver high quality standard care to patients.
